The Elaine Bain Family Trust was established as the Albany Children’s Trust in 2012 by Keith Courtney, Lynn O’Reilly and Elaine Bain. In 2020, following the passing of Elaine, we changed our name to the Elaine Bain Family Trust in her honour. We worked with various learners from 11 years of age up until 16 years of age from local high schools for ten years where the focus of our activity has always been learner centred. Through the relationship with our local partner schools, we have seen our activity grow from one group of learners to six groups in 2022/23.
